Prodigy
Episode Ranks
Star Trek: Prodigy broke new ground in its amazing two-season run (and, yes, hopefully someday we will see more!). As the first show in Star Trek history conceived for and targeted at children, it more than fulfilled its promise of tapping into that "Pixar" magic by not only working as show for adults, but adding to the Trek universe in ways no one would have every imagined.
The show's beautifully conceived CGI animation was matched only by the show's layered (and surprisingly complex) narrative structure and world-building. For a kids' show, they really went deep into the lore, but packaged in an easily consumable way for kids and adults.
A fantastic piece of work.
